The Judging Process for the Esports Awards is one of the most transparent and stringent procedures of its kind, all overseen by our Esports Awards Committee.
The process begins with the community nominations being reviewed and judged by our Esports Awards Panel (Split between Group One Awards and Group Two awards). Made up of 14 key industry experts, the Panel feature heavyweights from the entire spectrum of the industry. It takes more than two weeks to determine our Official Finalists.
The Official Finalists are then deliberated on by our Esports Awards Panel a few weeks prior to our awards.
The 24 awards are all open to community vote; with the community accounting for 25% of the overall vote. The Panel makes up the final 75% of the vote.
In the case of our three fully community voted awards the Esports Awards Committee close voting and sign and seal these winners away for Monday the 12th November 2018. These awards are:
- Esports Organisation of the Year
- Esports Streamer of the Year
- Esports Play of the Year
